
Judicial Officers in Kogi State have been called upon to remain steadfast in upholding the Constitution of the country.
Governor Yahaya Bello stated this in a message to the Swearing- In of three new Judges of the High Court of Justice at the Government House, Lokoja.
Represented by his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, the governor said promotion of Justice was key to a just society where peace and fairness exist.
He reiterate executive partnership with the Judiciary and the legislative arm of government for the development of the state.

While congratulating the three newly sworn in Judges, Chief Onoja urged them to discharge their duties with utmost respect for the rule of law.
In a remark, the Commissioner for Justice and the Attorney General of the State, Mr. Muhammad Sani praised Governor Yahaya Bello for following due process in the appointment of the Judges.
Similarly, the state Chief Judge, Justice Richard Olorufemi said the state Judiciary would continue to ensure a robust justice administration system that promotes equity and fairness in the state.
He commended the governor for giving the Judiciary an enabling environment to perform their duties.
Responding on behalf of the newly sworn in Judges, Justice A S Ibrahim expressed gratitude for the appointment and promised to carry on their duties without fear or favour.
The three newly sworn in Judges are Justice Abubakar Sule Ibrahim, Justice Abdallah Suleiman and Justice Aminu Ali Eri
