
Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Tanko Muhammad, warned judicial officers to be wary of corrupt practices as the searchlight of the National Judicial Council is watching closely every of their actions across the country.
Justice Muhammad stated this at the swearing in ceremony of twenty two new judges of the FCT High Court, in Abuja.
The CJN tasked the new judges to discharge their duties with fairness and in accordance with the constitution of the country.
He urged them to see their elevation as a call to serve the nation which came with huge responsibilities.

Justice Tanko Muhammad said their elevations to the new positions come with huge responsibility that require more hard work and adherence to the rule of law.
The Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory, Justice Baba-Hussaini Yusuf while advising the new judges to be committed to duty said Nigerians expected much from them.
The event had in attendance members of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Nigeria Bar Association among other stakeholder
