NBA Begins Conference As Lawyers Commends Organisers For Ease of Accreditation

The Nigerian Bar Association NBA, has kicked off its yearly conference yesterday, Friday August 19, 2022, in Lagos

The conference started with accreditation of lawyers, collection of conference materials and Jumaat service at the Lagos Central Mosque.

Lawyers who have been accredited has commended the organiser for a stress free process of collecting the conference materials.

The Technical Committee on Conference Planning (TCCP) Chairman, Tobenna Erojikwe who welcomes all delegates to this year Conference promised continuous seamless accreditation process and collection of Conference materials.

Mr Erojikwe, however, informed delegates of a change in the start time for accreditation and collection of materials today, noting that it has been shifted till 4pm.

According to him, his team are compelled to make the adjustment because some of the site contractors have not completely removed their equipment from the site.

“Upon observation during collection of materials yesterday, it was clear that it would be best to avoid any potential health and safety hazard that could occur.

“We regret any inconvenience that this is sure to occasion, but we remain assured of your continued understanding” he said.

The TCCP Chairman urged those who have been accredited to join the health walk this morning for 8AM and other activities as he wishes the rest of lawyer who are on their way to attend the Conference, Godspeed on their travels.
