Odumodublvck’s N2bn Assault Suit Stalls as Rapper Fails to Appear in Court

An Abuja High Court has adjourned the N2bn two billion naira assault suit against Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, to October 14 for the cross-examination of the claimant, after the rapper and his lawyer failed to appear in court.

The suit was filed by Levi Ogbogiri, popularly known as Kraziecent, who alleged that the rapper assaulted him without provocation at a public event on December 16, 2024.

At the resumed hearing, Ogbogiri’s counsel, Uchenna Ojembe, told the court that his client was present and ready to proceed, lamenting that the case had suffered several adjournments.

Justice J.O.E. Ajayi ordered a stand-down to allow Odumodublvck and his counsel, Taiwo Akinsulie, to appear.

However, they failed to show up after the stand-down.

Ogbogiri subsequently entered the witness box, adopted his witness statements on oath and affidavits deposed to on February 25, 2026, and urged the court to grant his claims.

He told the court that he was relying on documentary and digital evidence, including contracts, medical records, photographs, WhatsApp conversations and payment receipts.

The claimant also presented evidence relating to an alleged unfulfilled booking contract involving Walex Biz Nigeria Ltd, Shelter Groove Ltd, Capworld Nigeria Ltd and Chinotem Nig Ltd.

He further relied on medical records and photographs which he said documented a wrist injury and subsequent treatment.

After hearing the claimant, Justice Ajayi adjourned the case to October 14 for cross-examination by the defendant.

Ogbogiri is asking the court to order Odumodublvck to reimburse his medical expenses and issue a public apology on his social media platforms and in two national newspapers, or pay N2 billion in damages.

The court had earlier fixed October 13 and 14 for hearing.
