Report reaching us stated that one of the law enforcement agencies of the Lagos State Government known as Central Business District Officers disrupt business activities at the popular Idumota market in Lagos Island today.

According to an eyewitness account, trouble started when shop owners protested against extortion and harassment from the CBD officers.

The officers who later mobilize themselves and engaged the marketers like hooligans in uniform.

Goods worth millions of naira were destroyed and some shop owners got injured
