Oniru Royal Tussle: Omowumi Abisogun Family Caution Blogger’s Over Contempt

The Oniru family of iruland, Victoria Island, Lagos, has kicked against an online publication, calling on Mr. Gbolahan Lawal to vacate Oniru stool for Mr. Hakeem Ajasa, as both of them are busy body interlopers with no blood link to the title of Oniru stool.

This was said by Alhaji Surajudeen Durosimi, Head of Omowumi Abisogun, family, while speaking to newsmen on the premises of the Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal.

He called on family and friends, Omowumi Abisogun family, to remain calm and toll the path of truth, as the case is before the court and the family has confidence in judiciary to dispense justice in the matter.

He said the duo of Gbolahan and Ajasa did not have blood relation to Oniru, stressing that it is a taboo for anybody who did not have blood link to kingship to occupy such position in Yorubaland.

Durosimi further said that what those who are calling themselves Ewumi branch of Abisogun are doing could affect the case in court if not check.

He call on parties to stop publications capable of affecting smooth judicial process.

“The Omowumi Abisogun family is calling on peaceful people of Lagos to join hands with us to put and end to an abomination that was created by politicians.

“At appropriate time, Omowumi Abisogun family will prove to court the anomalies creates by politicians and expose them.

“We do not have any problem with Bola Tinubu or Sanwo Olu, because we always see them as partners in building of greater Lagos. That is the reason why decency should prevail in emergency of Oniru.

“All lies build by Gbolahan Lawal and Hakeem Ajasa, including their supporters are bound to fail in the face of truth and justice. All members of Omowumi Abisogun family must not rest on their oars as victory is certain for them,” Durosimi said.
