Police Arraigns Fast Food Joints Worker, Ahmed Fadulilahi

The Nigeria Police has arraigned a fast food joint worker, Ahmed Fadulilahi, before an Osun State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Osogbo, for stealing N2,117,850 belonging to Captain Cook Bakery and Stores.

Arraigning Fadulilahi, the Police Counsel, Taiwo Adegoke, informed the court that the accused committed the crime while working at the joint in December 2020 at the Osogbo office.

Insp Adegoke, stated that the offence contravened Section 390 (9) (6), of the Criminal Code Cap. 34 Vol. 2 of the Laws of Osun State, Nigeria, 2002.

However, the accused pleaded not guilty to a count charge levelled against him which borders on stealing.

The defence counsel, Mr. B.O. Odutola, urged the court to admit his client to bail in liberal terms.

But Adegoke opposed the application.

However, the presiding Magistrate, Ishola Omishade, admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N1m with two sureties in like sum.

The matter was adjourned till March 24, 2021 for mention.
