
The Nigeria Police has arraigned two men, Abiodun Adewole, and Lekan Sonibare, before Lagos State Chief Magistrate Court in Ogba for allegedly terrorising traders in the Agbotikuyo area of Agege.
The traders had accused Adewole and Shonibare of threatening their lives and property.
The police were said to have arrested them after the traders’ association lodged a formal complaint.
The two defendants were charged with three counts of conspiracy, threat to lives, and conduct likely to cause breach of the peace.

The prosecutor, Josephine Ikhayere, said the defendants committed the offences on September 30.
The defence counsel, Munira Iroko, applied for bail in liberal terms, while arguing that the two defendants are victims of circumstances.
Chief Magistrate Lateef Owolabi granted them bail in the sum of N150,000 with two sureties each in like sum.
The matter was adjourned till November 3 for mention.
