Agbowa LCDA Staffer: Keshinro Widow Seeks Justice For Murder Husband

Funke Keshinro, the widow of Kazeem Idowu Keshinro, a dedicated local government worker from Ikosi-Ejirin LCDA Agbowa in Lagos, is demanding justice for her husband’s brutal murder at the hands of land grabbers.

She has urgently called upon Governor Sanwo-Olu to intervene and alleviate the suffering she and her three children are experiencing after losing their father.

According to Mrs. Keshinro, her husband was ambushed and killed in April by a group led by a notorious land grabber named Mukaila Salau, also known as “Actor.” The attack, which took place in Ikorodu, left Keshinro severely beaten and shot.

While Salau and his accomplices have been arrested, Mrs Keshinro fears that their connections and influence could undermine the investigation and thwart the pursuit of justice for her family.

Meanwhile, the State Ministry of Justice has issued legal advice recommending the trial of some suspects while exonerating others following the conclusion of an investigation by the Nigeria Police.

Among those to be tried at the State High Court are land merchant Abubakar Mayaki, notorious thug Mukaila Salau (a.k.a. “Actor”), Ibrahim Ekemode, and Ahmed Tiamiyu (a.k.a. “Fowomeye”). The Police have been urged to intensify their efforts to apprehend Akande Omobemi (a.k.a. “Bemi”) and other perpetrators of the deadly attack who are currently on the run.

Similarly, Aishat Razak, Oladeji Saheed, Comfort Nwake, and Ganiu Rasak have no case to answer, as they were arrested in lieu of a suspect, Akande Omobemi (a.k.a. “Bemi”), whom the deceased had identified as one of his assailants.
