A pedophile also spelled pedophilia is a person who has a sustained sexual orientation toward children, generally aged 13 or younger, meanwhile not all pedophiles are child molesters (or vice versa).

The IPO who is attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, Lagos made the revelation while testifying as the fifth prosecution witness.

Led in evidence by the state prosecutor, Mr Yusuf Sule, the policeman said that in the course of investigations, another girl (name withheld) came forward that the defendant assaulted her when she was 12-years-old.

Following the revelation of the witness, the statement of Baba Ijesha’s former landlord, Alhaji Jameel and his statement at SCID Yaba was admitted as evidence.

During proceedings, a visual recording of Baba Ijesha at the SCID admitting to sexually assaulting the foster daughter of actress and comedienne Ms Damilola Adekoya alias Princess was played in court.
